The 5th global aluminum foil manufacturers conference, hosted by the global aluminum foil manufacturers initiative, was inaugurated in dubai January 23-25, 2019. A total of more than 100 people from more than 20 countries in the aluminum foil industry attended the event, including 47 representatives of the world's major aluminum foil manufacturers, some of the aluminum foil industry supplier partners, special representatives of user units. During the meeting, delegates discussed the challenges and opportunities facing the global aluminum foil market. The main topics include the development of aluminum foil market, sustainability and recycling of aluminum foil industry, application of aluminum foil from the perspective of users, and aluminum foil prospect.

      As the world's largest producer and consumer of aluminum foil, representatives of China's leading 15 aluminum foil manufacturers attended the meeting. Zhang jilin, vice chairman and secretary-general of China nonferrous metal processing industry association and lu jian, director of aluminum industry department were invited to attend the conference.
Zhang jilin presided over the opening ceremony and delivered the opening speech.
